“Being a single mum of four children it is extremely hard to find affordable activities for my children. The Hunslet Club has allowed my children to grow in cofidence and put their skills to use in other areas including school.”

Over 23% of young people in Leeds are living in poverty and over the last year we have given out £1 million in grants to community groups and projects supporting children that are living in challenging circumstances.

With over 1,083 offences committed by young people aged between 10-17 in a single year in Leeds, we are committed to improving the future of young people in our city.

Through our Birthday Impact Fund we are raising money to address significant issues which face young people in Leeds.

Donations to the fund will address and support the following areas:

  • Young carers
  • Child poverty
  • NEET
  • Children in care
  • Mental and Physical Health
  • Young offenders
