Children & Young People

We believe that every child deserves the best start in life and a chance to fulfill their potential. In order to make Leeds the vibrant, successful city that we all want, we must put the needs of children and young people at the heart of what we do. That is why, in 2010-11, we invested a total of £1.5 million (35% of our grants) in amazing projects supporting children and young people to build a better future.

Leeds Children and Young People Fund Brochure

By donating today, you could help to:

  • Provide a week’s break at a seaside activity centre for young carers (children as young as 10 who spend several hours each day caring for parents or siblings).
  • Support a 12 month development and leadership course aimed at young people who are at risk of leading harmful lifestyles (drug & alcohol misuse, self harm, prostitution).
  • Fund innovative training schemes where young people can learn new skills that improve their prospects in the job market

Donate to support projects like these through the Leeds Children and Young People Fund.
