Hammerson, the developer behind the Victoria Gate scheme and owner of Victoria Quarter, is delighted to relaunch their Community Grants Fund with Leeds Community Foundation. This is part of our ongoing commitment to the city.
The Victoria Gate Fund will focus on third sector groups in Leeds working in the field of arts and culture, or on projects supporting or providing employment opportunities, enterprise or skills development. Applications can be for capital costs (e.g. equipment, goods and materials) or revenue costs (e.g. room rental, staff and volunteer costs). For example:
- Art and cultural activities within the areas of music, literature or visual art
- Developing specific skills through the provision of training and/or equipment
- Activities that help develop positive attitudes towards work
- Projects that help engage local people in enterprising activities
Leeds. We will prioritise projects that work with people in the city’s most disadvantaged wards.
£16,800 is available for distribution. Grants of between £1,500 and £2,500 are available to support registered charities or constituted community groups working with people in Leeds.
