Youth Social Action Fund – Grants Awarded in 2017

Leeds Community Foundation, Big Lottery and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport are working together to create the Youth Social Action Fund, also know as #iwill. The programme aim is to increase youth social action by 50% by 2020 taking the percentage of young people that volunteer from 40% to 60%. Social action involves activities such as campaigning and volunteering which enable participants to make a positive difference to their communities. Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 were awarded to projects in Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield.
