Meet Nashat

“I signed up for this group recently, after someone I knew told me about it.  I’d never done anything like it before, so it was new for me, but also my daughters. Normally, during school holidays they’ll play at home or outside with neighbours, but that gets tiring after a while. Sometimes, I’ll take them to the ball pit but that’s expensive and I can’t afford that every day. After a few weeks I’m running out of ideas what to do with them, so it’s great that they have this group.

This place is amazing; I love it. It reminds me of my time at primary school. Doing a lot of these activities brings out the child. There’s lots of different games and activities they can get involved with and they don’t get that at home.

Playing with them and getting involved with the activities is healthier for them and it’s healthier for us. I think it brings the community together and I’ve got to know a few of the other parents. The kids really enjoy coming here, I wish it was available for more than a week!”
