Our Story 2017-2018
We’ve been busy over the past few months developing the Leeds Community Foundation brand, showcased through our new website and annual review.
Going back to the Foundation’s vision and values, we’ve updated our visual identity so we can better share the true impact our funding makes and profile the many varied projects we support across the Leeds and Bradford.
First and foremost, we’re a charity with local people at its heart.
Working at the Foundation, we’re lucky enough to hear directly from many of the people our funding has helped and we wanted to share these amazing stories with others.
The best place to do this was on our website and through our annual review, this year called Our Story 2017-2018
To bring this all to life we’ve been working with street photography and social documentary project, Humans of Leeds to capture stories from the people our funding has impacted. Keep your eyes peeled for these stories featuring in our monthly e-newsletter and in the Yorkshire Evening Post, or you can meet Stefan, Rabia and Bob right now.
Keeping our work as a Community Foundation simple to understand and easy to navigate was also imperative. With help from user research company, Simple Usability, we conducted a series of focus groups to better understand what our supporters and community groups wanted from our website. The feedback received has been integral to the build, with the user journey leading the design, content and structure of our new site.
